b-cube was founded in March 2008 by Dr. Thomas Kohler, Dr. Martin Stauber, and Prof. Dr. Ralph Müller. It is a spin-off company of ETH Zürich and is currently based at the Institute for Biomechanics at ETH Zürich in Switzerland. The core business of b-cube is to provide service in structural investigation of materials, especially in the biological and medical field. For this, b-cube offers a micro-computed tomography (microCT) service, which allows to non-destructively image the internal three-dimensional structure of objects. Furthermore, b-cube offers assistance in analyzing three-dimensional data of any external imaging source.
